Summary: Jonah tries to move on from Amy after her promotion to California, the staff feel the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Carol's lawsuit against the store, and Cloud 9's future at stake.

Season 6 of Superstore was confirmed on February 11, 2020. It premiered on October 29, 2020 on all the streaming services.

Production

• Filming started in August 2020.
• It was announced on February 28, 2020, that America Ferrera who played Amy Sosa would exit the series after the fifth season.
  • However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, her farewell episode was pushed back to this season. It extended to two episodes.
  • It was announced on December 3rd, 2020 that the 6th season would be the last for the show.
• It was announced on February 9, 2021, the season finale episode is going to be a one hour series finale that will conclude the season on March 25, 2021.
• Ferrera (Amy Sosa) would return with a two-part series finale.

		Directed by: Betsy Thomas - Written by: Josh Malmuth With the floor supervisor position available, Jonah decides to throw his hat in the ring, much to Dina's chagrin. Glenn and Mateo struggle to find the right balance in their working relationship. Garrett tries to prove he's been in love before.

Glenn desperately tries to right the store's wrongs, in misguided ways.

		Directed by: Jay Hunter - Written by: Justin Shanes After returning from quarantine, Glenn enlists Cheyenne and Bo's help to get Dina to relinquish control. Jonah and Mateo have second thoughts about helping Sandra with her cat's medical needs. Garrett struggles with customer returns due to a new Zephra policy.

		Directed by: Ross Novie - Written by: Hailey Chavez On the day of Store 1217's first deep cleaning since the pandemic began, Glenn ropes Garrett into throwing a party to cheer up the employees. Dina needs Cheyenne's guidance when her ability to run the store is compromised. Jonah tries to help Mateo.
