Running gags[]
- Amy's name tag: Amy wears a different name tag in every episode. For this one it's Maureen
- Raccoons: During morning announcements, Amy says that raccoons broke into the safe and that they either had a key or that someone was letting them into the safe.
References[]
- When discussing how Carol had a mental breakdown when she found out that Sandra and Jerry were engaged. Everyone discusses possible ways Carol may retaliate against Sandra.
- Cheyenne thinks Carol may "Gone Girl" Sandra, which most likely means that Carol will try to frame Sandra for a crime. Jonah corrects her by saying Carol would instead have to "Gone Girl " Jerry, since in the movie, it is the husband (Nick) who is accused of causing his wife's (Amy) disappearance.
- Justine thinks Carol may try to "Girl on the Train" Sandra, which Garrett points out will just mean putting Sandra on a train.
- During Garretts testimonial, he says that Mateo taught inner city kids how to express themselves through the power of music, which was in reality the plot to Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. In a last ditch effort, Amy claims that the movie was actually loosely based on Mateo's life.
- Jeff listened to Pompeii by Bastille when he used the Cloud 9 company car to drive the Vice President's wife to Indianapolis.
- Marcus puts an entire Snickers Bar in the drink he makes Cheyenne.
- Cheyenne tricks Glenn (and technically Marcus) into giving her Disney World tickets.
- Sandra, who was tasked with bringing food to her own engagement party, bought everything at Party City.
- Jerry's bachelor's party is in Dollywood, and Garrett asks Jonah to go with him.
Trivia[]
- Dina is right about how throwing an engagement is not a maid-of-honor duty. Typically, it is the parents of the bride who throws it, usually with input from the groom.
